Why I Started This Blog
I didn’t set out to become a wig reviewer. I found myself panic-buying wigs at 11pm, overwhelmed by jargon, confused by head sizes, and worried I’d have no idea what they’d actually look like on a real person. Discovering TikTok wig reviews gave me the confidence to order my first styles, but I quickly realised there was still a gap for honest, affordable reviews that showed wigs in everyday life.
What I wanted was simple: honest reviews of affordable wigs, with real-life photos and videos. Not mannequin heads, not AI photos of products that didn’t exist in real life, no airbrushed studio shots, but actual reality.

My Mission
Wigs can be emotional. Hair loss, identity shifts, and menopause changes are all heavy. But wigs don’t always have to feel clinical or serious, they can also be fun, affordable, and even make you laugh.
That’s why almost all the wigs I feature here are under £150. Even when I test something a little pricier, it’s still far below the £250–£500 range I thought was the “starting point” when I first began this journey. Looking good shouldn’t mean blowing the budget.
You’ll see every wig in real-life lighting conditions — indoors, outdoors, and yes, sometimes in ridiculous places. Alongside that, you’ll find video try-ons, honest verdicts, and a dose of humour, because wigs should bring confidence and joy, not stress.
